The Imagine Nation Blog What are the top 5 records you could never live without? Let me preface this by saying my musical taste is in a constant metamorphosis. I alter my listening habits with the changing of seasons, the weather and my mood.
If I had to choose 5 records that transcend everything, and I can listen to whether its a rainy Autumn day or 2:27pm on a Tuesday in April, they would be (in alphabetical order): AFI "The Art of Drowning", Atreyu "The Curse", Dashboard Confessional "The Places You Have Come To Fear The Most", Morrissey "Vauxhall and I", Nine Inch Nails "The Fragile" [Left & Right].
What is your best concert experience? I have 2...The first time I ever went to Madison Square Garden I had floor seats for The Cure, which set the bar so high I've never been back. The other is the second time I saw Nine Inch Nails (I have no memory of the first).
What is your favorite venue to see a show, and why? I've been everywhere from arenas to firehalls. Once, I attended a hardcore/punk show in a church. Seriously.
If there was a movie made about you, who would play the starring role? They already made it, "Say Anything..." starring John Cusack. And if they ever make a movie about Michael J. Fox I'd probably be cast to play him.
